Tottenham Hotspur could be beaten to the signing of Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall by north London rivals Arsenal, according to the Telegraph.
Spurs are interested in the Bluebirds’ stand-out performer this season if Hugo Lloris decides to leave White Hart Lane in search for Champions League football next season.
Marshall would be brought in to replace Arsenal’s FA Cup hero Lukasz Fabianski who is close to completing a free transfer to Swansea.
The 29-year-old former Celtic gloveman was a key figure for the Bluebirds as the fought to avoid the drop from the Premier League.
