Former Enfield Town captain Mark Kirby has rejoined the club after leaving Hendon.

The defender has made 259 appearances for the Towners and was named the 2013-14 supporters player of the season.

Kirby could play his first match back at the club tonight when the side entertain Kingstonian.

Manager Bradley Quinton told the club website: "I'm pleased Mark decided he wanted to come back - I think he has a point to prove, and he is looking to secure a deal at the club for next season.

"In the meantime, he's a great asset to have available to call upon, and I think he probably regrets leaving in the first place. He's a winner, that's for sure and I'd like to welcome him back."
