Enfield Town grabbed a 1-1 draw at Billericay Town in their FA Cup first qualifying round tie on Saturday to earn a replay this evening.
The Towners produced a much-improved display compared with their 3-0 defeat to the same opponents in the Ryman Premier Division last month.
Billericay opened the scoring after just 13 minutes when Onome Sodji was released by Harold Joseph and he tucked the ball over Nathan McDonald.
McDonald pulled off a crucial save at the feet of Connor Hubble midway through the half which kept the Towners in the contest.
The hosts were reduced to ten men when captain George Beaven was shown a second yellow card after clattering into Bobby Devyne.
The Towners grabbed their equaliser when Teddy Nesbitt failed to clear a free-kick and Devyne pounced to squeeze the ball into the net.
The winners of tonight's replay will host Ipswich Wanderers in the second qualifying round on September 26.
