Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor will miss Thursday's Europa League clash with Besiktas after being granted a period of leave for personal reasons.
The 30-year-old has returned to Togo and will miss Spurs' trip to Besiktas in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Adebayor, who has scored twice in 12 outings for Mauricio Pochettino's side this season, has been granted leave for a 'private matter' according to a tweet by the club.
