Tottenham Hotspur will reject an offer of £10m from Premier League rivals Southampton for England international Andros Townsend, according to the Daily Express.
The 23-year-old wideman made his breakthrough last season, scoring once in 25 appearances before injury curtailed his campaign.
Townsend, who had previously taken in loan spells at a number of Football League sides, returned to action towards the end of last season but was never first-choice under Tim Sherwood, who preferred to employ Christian Eriksen on the left-hand side of midfield at times.
Ronald Koeman's Saints are keen to sign the five-cap England international but will see their £10m bid rebuffed by the White Hart Lane club, who are keen to hold onto the Leytonstone-born flyer.
