Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp successfully had two stents inserted to unblock arteries.
The White Hart Lane club have reported the manager is in "excellent spirits" following today’s procedure and that he is due to be discharged in the next 48 hours.
It was announced earlier that Redknapp would not travel for the club’s Europa League game in Russia against Rubin Kazan.
The procedure saw two stents inserted to unblock coronary arteries.
Chairman Daniel Levy told the club’s website: “We are delighted the operation went so smoothly and successfully. Knowing Harry he will want to rush back, but it’s important that he only does so when he has recovered properly.”
