ENFIELD TOWN have been boosted by the return of striker Michael Deane.

The former Cheshunt hitman netted five goals in 11 games for the Ryman Division 1 outfit last season before moving to Brentwood.

Deane was one of ten players to sign non-contract forms with the Goldsdown Road outfit earlier this week.

Also signing on the dotted line were three of last season's first team squad - Rudi Hall, Andy Jones and Jason Willis - plus Lucas Williams, who joined last week from Hillingdon Borough.

Five new faces also committed themselves to Town on Tuesday. They are Michael Pelley, Shaun Reece, Samuel Kola Okikiolu, Bradley Drisdale and David Wattley.

Pelley and Reece are no strangers to Goldsdown Road having played there last season for landlords Brimsdown Rovers, while Kola Okikiolu has signed from Folkstone Invicta.

The defender was highly rated at the Kent club, sweeping the board at their Player of the Season awards in 2007, and has plenty of experience having started as a trainee for Wimbledon, played for Scottish Division 1 side Clyde and also turned out for East Thurrock, Margate and Harrow Borough.

Wattley will be hoping for better fortunes having played for struggling Cheshunt last season while Drisdale is a pacy winger who has formerly played for Haringey Borough. The right-sided player's excellent deliveries were key to Broxbourne's success last season.
