Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to rival Manchester United and rivals Arsenal for Newcastle United striker Ayoze Perez.
The 22-year-old Spaniard has scored three Premier League goals in eight starts for the Magpies this season and according to the Daily Telegraph, he had caught the eye of Spurs.
But Mauricio Pochettino’s side will have to go toe-to-toe with Manchester United and north London rivals Arsenal if they are to tempt the former Tenerife attacker to White Hart Lane.
Sixteen goals in 34 Segunda Division starts during the 2013/14 season were enough to persuade Newcastle to bring the 5ft 9in forward to the Premier League last season.
Perez scored the winner for Steve McClaren's side at Bournemouth on Saturday and has ten goals in 32 league starts for the club.
