A BATCH of pregnancy test kits that may have contained some faulty units were supplied to Glasgow hospitals.

The hospitals took delivery of 1000 units in March and records show 800 had been used in April, May and the first week of June. They could have given false negative readings.

All 800 were used at three hospitals - Stobhill, Glasgow Royal Infirmary and the Southern General.

Women who have any doubts having had a negative pregnancy test at one of the three hospitals in the past three months should contact their GP or community pharmacist.

They can also call 08000 282816 for advice.
