Enfield Town Ladies boss Kyri Neocleous said it was all about the team performance after a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace in their first FA Women's Premier League match of 2015.

The Towners took a 2-0 lead through Regan Coleman but eventually succumbed to draw with the Eagles on Sunday. The draw leaves Enfield fifth in the South East Division One.

Reflecting on the draw, Neocleous said: "Overall I’m satisfied. I’m pleased for our players and our supporters who were there to watch.

"It was a very important game, crucial we didn't lose after letting a two-goal lead slip. The girls were disappointed with only a point but there were lots of positives to take from the game, going into the second half of the season."

He continued: "Every game we try to improve and we need to take it step by step, to continue working hard and believe in our way.

"We set out to restrict Crystal Palace playing the long ball and allowed no space in behind, we were then able to counter attack them and Regan Coleman scored two fantastic goals. She was outstanding throughout.

"It was disappointing to concede two late goals after controlling large parts and leading 1-0 at half-time; however after the Christmas break, the squad should be proud of the performance and we can really push on now for the second half of the season."
