Enfield Town have appointed George Borg as their new manager and he will take charge of this side this Saturday as the Towners take on Carshalton Athletic in the Ryman Premier.
Enfield sacked Steve Newing last month and have been searching for his successor.
The club stated they had received “applications of real quality” but were impressed by Borg’s enthusiasm and his previous work at clubs such as Aldershot Town.
Town chairman Paul Millington said: “George will need no introduction to many of us and has been successful at every club he has managed always taking them to a stronger position than when he joined.'
“The club would like to thank Bryan and Pete Hammatt for stepping in whilst the process of selecting a new manager took place. They have served the club well over the years and leave with our very best wishes.”
