Southgate Adelaide Thirds sealed promotion to Saracens Herts Cricket Division 11 after a final day win against Hatfield Crusaders Fifths.
Adelaide bowled their opponents out for just 86 and that set the platform for an easy eight-wicket victory.
However, it wasn’t until Bushey Heath Seconds’ five-wicket defeat was confirmed that Southgate could celebrate promotion.
It was a record breaking effort from Adelaide and Joe Morris set a league record by taking more than 60 wickets in a season.
Luke Gilbert’s 79 was the highest score of the campaign and another highlight was Mo Walled smashing 35 runs from just three overs against Langleybury.
