Many local councils and NHS hospitals in London appear very fragmented.
It remains my view that the next government needs to set up larger public services.
Simply abolish all NHS foundation trusts and cut the number of local councils in London. Set up five large councils and five large NHS services in London, all working together.
It appears to me that having 32 local councils and hundreds of local hospital services in London looks good on paper but is a total waste of public funds.
