THE man stabbed to death in Enfield on Friday night has been named by police as Mark Woods.
The 32-year-old, from Hertford Road, Ponders End, was stabbed in the heart just before midnight on Friday following an altercation outside another house in the Hertford Road.
He was pronounced dead at the scene half an hour later, with a post-mortem yesterday giving the cause of death as a single stab wound to the heart.
A 58-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and has been bailed to return to an east London police station later in March.
An inquest is expected to open and adjourn at Hornsey Coroner's Court on Wednesday.
