A man is due to appear in court today after being charged with assaulting couple at a railway station.
The 20-year-old will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court following the incident at Turkey Street station on April 2, charged on two counts of grievous bodily harm and one count of theft.
A man was saying goodbye to his girlfriend at the station when they were assaulted and pushed off the platform.
The woman suffered a broken wrist and the man, who was in his twenties, suffered a broken nose.
