A group of daredevils are preparing for a year of fundraising stunts to raise money for a brain tumour charity.

Staff at Crown Worldwide Group in Southbury Road, Enfield, have chosen BT Buddies as their charity of the year.

Over the next 12 months, colleagues at Crown Worldwide will fundraise to help BT Buddies continue to support the 8,500 people a month who visit their website with information on dealing with a brain tumour.

Barry Koolen, regional managing director at Crown Worldwide said: “We’re all excited to get involved and start fundraising for such a worthy charity and I’m sure there will be many daredevils within the company that will want to bungee jump, abseil 150 feet and cycle from London to Paris again as they have in the past.”

Natalya Jagger, chief executive of BT Buddies, said: “It really does mean a great deal to us and the 16,000 people diagnosed with a primary brain tumour every year.

"The money raised will allow us to continue providing our services and will enable us to launch some exciting new initiatives such as a BT Buddies app, where people can store their scans, medical notes and record their medical journey via their smartphone.”
