Sports leaders needing a helping hand can attend a free workshop next week.
Enfield Borough Council is holding a forum in Enfield Civic Centre on Thursday, March 7 at which people can discuss how to improve their clubs and encourage more people to attend.
Experts will be on hand from 7pm to speak to people about how they can apply for funding, which venues are available for hire and how they can tap into volunteering programmes.
Councillor Bambos Charalambous, cabinet member for culture and leisure, said: “In tough economic times many sports clubs and teams can suffer financial hardship.
“Issues such as increasing membership and finding money for equipment and team strips can be challenging and finding a regular venue to play at can be hard for smaller groups.
“This event is free and is a fantastic opportunity for all clubs, groups and organisations involved in sports and physical activity in the borough of Enfield to find out how to maximise their income and membership.”
