A woman has been arrested in connection with a hit and run which left a man seriously injured.
The victim, who is in his 40s, was found in the carriageway of Cockfosters Road at the junction with Lancaster Avenue on Thursday between 02.30am and 03.10am.
He was rushed to the Royal London Hospital with serious head injuries where he remains in a critical condition.
The woman, who is in her 30s, was arrested for failure to stop and has been bailed while the police from the Road Death Investigation Unit investigate.
