Firefighters were called three times to a house in Palmers Green in just three days.
The roof of the semi-detached house in Connaught Gardens collapsed following a fire, which started on Friday just before 7am.
Twenty firefighters from Edmonton, Tottenham and Southgate fire stations had the fire under control by 8.30am and used a cherry picker to clear away the debris.
However, yesterday a passer-by saw smoke billowing from the roof’s remains just before 10.40pm last night.
According to the London Fire Service, a spark may have been caused by “deep seated pockets of fire” which remained in the property from two days before.
Firefighters visited the property again this morning at approximately 8am as a precaution.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and the London Ambulance Service was not called.
