An Albanian man accused of a series of murders in his homeland was arrested in New Southgate last night after 15 years on the run.
Ndrieim Sadushi, 41, was arrested by detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s Extradition Unit at his home in High Road after Albanian authorities issued an arrest warrant.
He is alleged to have been involved in three murders and an attempted murder in the country in 1997, and is also wanted by police in Italy for alleged money laundering and drugs trafficking.
Sadushi will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court later today for an extradition hearing.
