KINKY people in Enfield have been trying to recycle their raunchy items it has been revealed.
Blow up dolls and sex toys are just some of the strange items found in Enfield’s recycling containers over the last year.
Enfield Council has released the details of some of the oddest items found to emphasise the importance of recycling properly.
Councillor Chris Bond said: “It beggars belief what some people have placed in their recycling.”
The councillor also pointed out if an incorrect item is not spotted by staff then the 10 tonne load of recycling has to be sent to landfill which cost the council a fortune.
Other peculiar items found for recycling include oil paintings, a fish tank, dead pets and urn containing the ashes of a person or animal.
Enfield currently recycles 34 per cent of its rubbish and hopes to increase that to 47 per cent with the introduction of new bins across the borough.
