A PLANNNING meeting about the controversial Cat Hill development will be taking place this evening.
The public meeting will focus on the proposals to build 272 new flats and houses on the sight of the old Middlesex University campus in Cat Hill.
The meeting starts at 7:30pm and will be held at Gladys Child Theatre in Southgate College and campaigners are hoping for a big turnout.
This is the second attempt to have a planning panel after the first meeting had to be called off because the venue reached its capacity.
Enfield Council has rescheduled the meeting for tonight at the Gladys Child Theatre with a capacity of 292.
Campaigners believe the development will damage local wildlife and woodland, increase traffic and put a stain on local services such as schools and hospitals.
