STRIKE action by teachers is set to close the majority of Enfield schools this Thursday, in a dispute over pensions.
Teachers and civil servants will stage a 24-hour walkout over pension plans they say will mean them working longer and paying more.
More than 60 schools will close in the borough, while 14 will be partially open but offer a much reduced schedule. Only five schools will be unaffected.
The closures are:
Infant, junior and primary schools
Secondary schools
Special schools
Schools which will be partially open - parents should contact them for information
Schools unaffected
