POLICE have closed the M25 after a three-vehicle accident just before 7am this morning.
The motorway is shut clockwise between Junction 25 for Enfield and Junction 23 after the accident, which is causing major delays and tailbacks for commuters this morning.
Police officers closed the carriageway at 7.15am, reportedly leaving several miles of traffic trapped on the motorway and severe congestion in surrounding Enfield roads.
Motorists are being diverted via the A1, A406, and A10. Expect delays.
