A WANNABE robber failed to steal mobile phone and was then detained by his victim, it is alleged.
Fuat Demirci, 19, of Rushey Hill, Enfield will appear at Enfield Magistrates Court, on August 10, charged with robbery.
He was arrested in Chase Road, Palmers Green on June 24 at 3.18am.
Police arrived to find the victim, 17, who studies martial arts, was sitting on the man who had allegedly tried to rob him.
