A WOMAN who was raped three weeks ago in her own home Edmonton is appealing for help in catching her attacker.

The woman told police the man was 5ft 5in and of a large build. He is alleged to have attacked some time around 3am on Saturday 10.

Police have released an efit picture of the man they want to question.

They want to speak to anyone saw a woman in a grey dressing gown running down Joyce Avenue, across Colyton Way and into Fore Street at about 3.15am.

Police also think a motorist sounded their horn at about the time the woman was running in the street.

Detective Inspecctor Daniel Smith, said: "We need to speak either to that driver or anyone who saw her.

"The victim suffered a terrifying ordeal and is deeply shocked by what happened to her."
