A man had to be rushed to hospital after he was bitten by a “dangerous dog” in an Enfield park.
Police were called to Albany Park at 3pm yesterday afternoon (February 18) after receiving reports of a dangerous dog.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that the owner, a man aged in his 30s, had been bitten on the arm.
He was subsequently taken to hospital for his injuries.
The owner had restrained the dog, believed to be an American bulldog, before officers arrived, and it died at the scene.
A Met spokesperson said that officers did not use any force on the dog.
