A suspected drink driver was arrested after a crash partially blocked a major road.
The Metropolitan Police were called to reports of a crash in West Green Road in South Tottenham at 6.14am today (December 29).
Two cars were found to have collided and the driver of one of the vehicles was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving.
He has been taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, police added.
A crime scene was put in place to allow the vehicles to be recovered. Police enquiries continue.
The AA had reported the A10 road partially blocked with heavy traffic due to a crash involving two vehicles.
This was on the A10 High Road going both ways at A504 West Green Road, reported at 6.52am today.
