Three policemen accused of breaking a football fan's eye socket will appear in crown court next month.
Inspector Paul Wakeford, PC Dan Hargan, and PC Keith Darcy stand trial at Southwark Crown Court on November 3 charged with actual bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.
It follows an investigation by the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC), after a match at White Hart Lane between North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal on October 2, 2011.
During the game, where the three officers were on duty, Spurs fans encroached on police lines and were moved back.
The fan making the complaint, who was arrested during the game, said he suffered his injury because of police tactics.
The Met Police initially said the three men had pleaded not guilty, but later clarified no pleas have yet been entered.
