Black smoke billowed over Harringay yesterday evening (September 18) after a fire at a petrol station.
Two fire engines were sent by the London Fire Brigade (LFB) at 6.04pm, after a pump at the Sainsbury's supermarket on Williamson Road, Tottenham caught fire, with the blaze under control by 6.44pm.

The alarm was raised by the supermarket, and 50 people had to be evacuated before the brigade arrived
According to an LFB spokesperson a motorcycle was destroyed in the fire, along with one of the pumps, but no person was reported to have been injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
