I would just like to thank the people that helped me on Saturday, May 30. I was out for a run when I got into difficulties by Forty Hall. I tried to flag down passing cars but ended up sitting on the floor, not feeling too good.
Fortunately, a number of good Samaritans stopped and I would like to thank Glen, Melanie and two other ladies that came to my aid.
It was luck that Glen turned out to work for the Red Cross and he took control getting me settled and calling an ambulance. The ambulance crew and the staff at the North Middlesex Hospital were great and I hope that those that helped out will be pleased to hear that all is OK. I’ve just got to have a few more tests and then hopefully I’ll be back out running again.
Once again, a big thank you to those that helped me and my family through a very uncomfortable morning.
