Children gave their own performance of ‘gangsta granny’ as they entertained pensioners during a tea morning.
Dubbed the Tea Dance, pupils at Suffolks Primary School, in Brick Lane, Enfield, performed at the first event held by the school's parent forum.
The performance is based on the CBBC television programme Gangsta Granny, which is adapted from the David Walliams book.
Three of the people who enjoyed a spot of tea were former pupils at the school and headteacher Andrea Cassius is hoping the tea dance will become a regular fixture.
She said: “It was such an amazing event and I am truly proud of all the hard work of the members of Suffolks Primary Parent Forum who have been planning this day since January.
“Our parents, staff and children are working so hard to ensure that the school becomes an even more special place for the whole community.”
