Pair set for May trial accused of child neglect
A man and a woman will stand trial in May after denying four charges of child neglect.
Officers found the six-week-old old baby boy unconscious and unresponsive at a home in Russell Road, in Palmers Green on the morning of Saturday, November 29, 2014.
He was later pronounced dead at hospital.
The man and woman, both in their 40s, were arrested at the scene and charged with child neglect.
Both pleaded not guilty today at Wood Green Crown Court, in Lordship Lane.
They were remanded in custody and will now appear in the same court for trial on May 26.
The woman was charged with three counts of child neglect with the man charged with one count.
