Enfield Independent: The girl got style

Singer and songwriter Maria Evangelou has just returned home to Palmers Green after a trip to Cyprus where she has been competing to be its Eurovision 2015 entry and she will perform her song Still as part of this concert.

  • Tales from the Shed 

These vibrant, interactive theatre shows are perfect for young children who will be encouraged to make lots of noise as each week different stories are introduced featuring characters from Can-Can the beautiful bird to laid-back Lion Down and The Thing That Goes Blurgh.

  • Weekend Workshop: Botanical Art 

Undertake observational drawing and create a small watercolour study of an early spring flowering plant including the bulb and the roots. Learn skills including accurate line drawing, drawing to scale, composition, tonal sketching, creating 3D form, colour mixing and using watercolour washes. Work at your own pace with one-to-one tutor support. Classes are suitable for all abilities and include tutor demonstrations, group drawing exercises and class discussions.

Together, the group brings you a twist on the classic 1940s and ‘50s close harmony: from Glenn Miller and The Andrews Sisters to unique modern arrangements; with a solid, smooth sound.
