The man tried to run across the North Circular
A man was hit by a car while trying to run across the North Circular Road.
Police officers were called to Ravenside Close, Edmonton, shortly after 7.15am yesterday, to reports of the 33-year-old man having been hit before he reached the other side of the A406.
The man suffered a number of fractures and a serious head injury, and was taken to an east London hospital by air ambulance, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
No arrests were made and enquiries continue.
