Flowers laid in Fore Street where David Barcelos was hit by bus
A 13-year-old boy who was hit by a bus in Edmonton has been named.
David Barcelos was running for a bus in Fore Street shortly after 8am yesterday when he was hit by a bus travelling towards Enfield.
London Ambulance Services paramedics tried to save the boy but he died on his way to hospital.
David was a pupil at Gladesmore Community School, in Tottenham.
A post-mortem examination will take place today at Haringey Mortuary.
The driver of the bus stopped at the scene. He was spoken to by police but not arrested.
Police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to the collision.
