Flowers laid in Fore Street where boy was hit by bus
Police are appealing for witnesses following the death of a schoolboy this morning.
The teenager, believed to be 13, was hit by a bus in Fore Street, just after 8am, and died at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics.
Flowers have been placed on a nearby lamp post to the incident with one card reading: "RIP, prayers to the family."
Next of kin have been informed and formal identification is yet to be confirmed.
A post-mortem examination will take place in the coming days and the police are urging anyone who saw the incident to come forward.
