It was a ‘nappy’ New Year for a couple who welcomed their new baby to the world on January 1.
Aysin Enver-Yusuf, of Enfield, gave birth to her son Kerem at North Middlesex University Hospital, in Sterling Way, Edmonton, at 3.07am on New Years Day while her partner Mehmet watched.
Kerem was the first child born at the hospital on New Year's Day and weighed at 8lb and 9ozs.
His mother described him as “our gorgeous little prince”.
