I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all the singers and musicians who travelled from Enfield to Ripon Cathedral in North Yorkshire to be part of the recent Come & Sing performance of Handel’s Messiah.
The concert, under the accomplished musical direction of Ampleforth’s Alistair Hardie, was a great success.
Everyone I spoke to, audience and performers, thoroughly enjoyed the experience and, most importantly, we raised over £4,500 for the work of Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) and their projects in Gaza to prevent stunting in children with malnutrition.
We still need funds for this vital life-saving work, you can make a donation today by visiting www.justgiving.com/Sue-Cooke3
