Enfield North MP Nick de Bois has backed a campaign to tackle the inequalities faced by men with prostate cancer.
The MP has joined the Men United campaign to tackle the most most common cancer in men.
Men with cancer continue to face injustices, particularly when it comes to access to the best treatments and aftercare support for their condition.
After speaking to Prostate Cancer UK campaigners at the Conservative Party conference in Birmingham last week, Mr de Bois has show his support.
He said: “It was very interesting to learn more about the inequalities in prostate cancer treatment, including things like location, age and colour.
“It kills more than 10,000 men every year and we have to make sure there’s a level playing field when it comes to cancer treatment.”
