Haydar Ulus, Haselbury ward Councillor, has been suspended from the Labour Party
A councillor accused of assault faces trial by jury.
Cllr Haydar Ulus, who represent Haselbury ward, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court today, accused of assault occasioning in actual bodily harm during an incident on February 20.
The councillor was given conditional bail and will now appear at Wood Green Crown Court on October 16.
Cllr Ulus is currently an independent councillor after being suspended by the Labour Party
The incident occurred before Mr Ulus became an Enfield councillor.
