Last Wednesday, it was my honour and privilege to attend the 50th anniversary of the excellent Willow Residents’ Association at Chace Community School in Churchbury Lane.
The association is run ably by Irene Wilson. Irene is a very rare breed and a fighter of fairness on behalf of each and every one of us.
Irene lives on the Willow Estate, always doing something to help, and she has been doing that for an incredible 50 years.
All of us on the Willow Estate owe her a huge debt of gratitude and we would like to salute a lovely and special lady.
Irene, take a bow, you are a true star. Well done and thank you so much.
