Children enjoyed bouncy castles, face painting and dance workshops as they celebrated national playday.
A plethora of activities were held this week at Enfield Town park to commemorate the UK-wide event with arts and crafts, giant orbs and a balloon release.
Play development manager Ricky Williams said: “National Playday gives children, young people and their families a fantastic play opportunity, It is also the Play Development Teams favourite day of the year as we get to see hundreds of happy faces playing, creating and enjoying."
Cllr Ayfer Orhan, cabinet member for education, said: “Enfield Town Park is a wonderful playground for young children and they can have some fun in the splash pad.
“This is a special day celebrating our children’s right to play, but I also hope that Enfield’s children take full advantage of the free activities at centres throughout the borough and the adventure places in our parks.”
