More families will receive support from Enfield Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) after the charity opened some new interview rooms.

Following a growing demand for its services, the CAB won a £10,000 grant from bakery Warburtons to redesign its space and build four new rooms on its site in Nags Head Lane, Ponders End.

The rooms were officially opened on Thursday and new rooms mean an extra 5,000 people will be supported every year across the borough.

Jill Harrison, CEO of Enfield CAB said: “This funding will make an enormous difference to people in Enfield who need the help of the CAB, and this marks the start of a long-running partnership that will continue make a real difference to the community. We can’t thank Warburtons enough for their help.”

Warburtons, based in Millmarsh Lane, offers charities and organisations that chance to apply for grants worth up to £250, or for larger projects between £1,000 and £10,000.
