Businesses are being called on to switch to green energy supplies.
‘Retrofit London’ says it will help small and medium-sized businesses in Enfield access energy saving and carbon reduction markets.
The scheme is also intended to help businesses gain government funding.
Enfield Borough Council is leading the scheme and inviting firms to the launch of the project.
Councillor Alan Sitkin, cabinet member for economic development, said: “Enfield Council is committed to supporting local businesses, and we want to do all we can to help them tap into the energy saving markets. This sector is recognised as a key area for future growth and job creation and we want to make sure our local businesses can access these new market opportunities.
“Enfield Council is looking for small to medium sized enterprises in construction, engineering and property management sectors, but basically if you feel your company has the potential to supply the London Retrofit agenda we want to hear from you.”
The launch will take place at the Dugdale centre, in London Road, Enfield on July 22.
