Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a shooting in Upper Edmonton.

Police were called at around 6.15am today after two men attended a north London hospital suffering from serious injuries.

One man, aged 21, was suffering a gunshot wound while a second man, aged 22, was suffering from stab wounds.

Both men remain in hospital in serious but stable conditions.

It is believed that their injuries were sustained during an altercation in Harbet Road.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Enfield Police on the non-emergency number 101.
