Enfield Borough Council is calling on men in the borough to sign up for free health sessions this week.
As part of Men’s Health Week, the council is encouraging men to try out activities such as Zumba, walking and dancing.
Enfield Council’s deputy leader Councillor Achilleas Georgiou said: “We have arranged a variety of sports taster sessions to give men a chance to try new activities and get their heart pumping, regardless of their level of fitness.
“These activities give men the chance to try something new and encourage a healthy exercise regime.
“All the research shows that fit and healthy people are better able to resist illness and enjoy a better and more active life for longer. So we’re calling on men across Enfield to get off the sofa, pull on their trainers and grab some exercise.”
