Nurses at an Enfield hospital were recognised for their hard work and dedication during an international celebration of the profession.

The BMI Kings Oak and Cavell Hospital, on the site of Chase Farm Hospital in The Ridgeway, marked International Nurses Day by treating its staff to a high tea on Monday.

The annual event, held on the birthday of Florence Nightingale, aims to highlight the important role nurses play in the delivery of healthcare.
