If you’re looking for an Easter Sunday treat then head down to  a fun day happening in Southgate today.

National Citizen Service youth board has raised money to organise a children’s fun day at Millennium Green Park in Station Road, Southgate from 10am until 5pm.

The group will be holding a barbecue, face painting, egg hunting and painting competitions to mark the Easter weekend.

The event is free of charge and chairman of Enfield’s Youth Parliament Kwame Osei Owusu is keen for everyone to come down and enjoy the festivities.

He said: “This event is free of charge and we hope families from all over Enfield can come down and enjoy a fun Easter Sunday.”

The event is sponsored by Challenge volunteering team and is the tenth Easter Sunday fun day the group has hosted.
