Small food businesses in Enfield have two weeks left to apply for support from a scheme to encourage local produce.
Urban Food Routes has teamed up with Mayor London’s Food Board to provide business advice, mentoring and funding up to £8,000 for local food businesses.
Mayor of London Boris Johnson said: “The Urban Food Routes scheme has been set up to help support a resurgence of interest in local food providers with the aim of sustaining what is an increasingly vibrant sector.
“I want the Urban Food Routes programme to help these enterprises to successfully provide fresh healthy food for local people, while simultaneously supporting jobs and training opportunities for Londoners.”
To apply, go to www.urbanfoodroutes.org.uk before 5pm on Thursday April 17.
